Wansbeck General Hospital is a district general hospital based in Ashington, Northumberland. It is one of two "low energy" built hospitals in the United Kingdom, and is the most northerly General hospital in England. Wansbeck General Hospital is part of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, the two other acute hospitals in the trust being in North Tyneside and Hexham. The hospital's Accident and Emergency Department is now a 24 hour walk in centre, following the opening of the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington. Most general and acute services are provided within the trust; specialist referrals are mainly made to the Newcastle Hospitals (Royal Victoria Infirmary, Freeman Hospital and Newcastle General Hospital, as well as some to Gateshead and Middlesbrough. ==Wards== *Acute medicine: * *24 hour Walk in Centre * *Rapid Access Therapy Unit (RATU) * *Medical Admissions Unit *General Medicine * * Respiratory Medicine and Haematology (Ward 2) * * Cardiology and Coronary Care Unit (Ward 3) * * Elderly Medicine (Wards 8 and 22) * * Stroke Unit (Ward 9) * * Gastroenterology (Ward 5) * * Respiratory, Diabetes and Endocrinology (Ward 17) *Surgery * * General Surgery (Ward 4) * * Orthopaedic Trauma (Ward 6) * * Elective Orthopaedics (Ward 7) * * Day Surgery Unit (Ward 15) * * Female General Surgery (shared with O&G) (Ward 16) *Obstetrics and Gynaecology * *Delivery Suite (consultant-led unit) * *Special Care baby Unit * *Pregnancy Assessment Unit * *Gynaecology (Ward 16) * *Maternity (Ward 10) *Critical Care * *Intensive Therapy Unit * *High Dependency Unit Paediatric services are based at North Tyneside General Hospital. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Wansbeck General Hospital」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
